How Long Does Microblading Last?
Depending on your microblading aftercare and personal skin type, the results from the procedure can last anywhere from one to three years. Microblading is semi-permanent and fades faster than other forms of cosmetic tattooing because the ink doesn’t go as deep into the skin.
Does Microblading Hurt?
Although microblading does involve getting a semi-permanent tattoo, it doesn’t hurt as much as people think it does. The numbing ointment applied to the skin beforehand takes away the pain, but some people do feel a minor amount of pressure.
Is Microblading While Pregnant Safe?
Getting microblading while pregnant is not recommended for two reasons. The first is the risk of infection, which although we take special care to sterilize all our tools and use proper sanitary measures, does occur at some other locations. The second reason is that the body tends to change before and after pregnancy and, even if you’re pleased with your microblading results, they could look completely different post-birth.
It’s best to wait to get microblading done until a few months after.
What Is The Microblading Healing Time?
The short microblading healing time is one of the reasons this procedure is so popular. Only seven to ten days after microblading, the final scabs will fall off, revealing the new, baby pink skin, which means that you’re all healed up!
How Long Does Microblading Take To Get Done?
Microblading is typically done in two sessions. The initial session will take longer, about two to three hours, because your permanent tattoo artist will need time to shape and style the brow. The follow-up session, which takes place six to eight weeks later, is to go in and fill in anything that faded and add any necessary additions. The second session usually takes one to two hours to complete.
What Is The Best Time To Get Microblading
Like tattoos, it is not recommended that anyone under 18 years old gets microblading done on their eyebrows. After that, even people who are 60 years old regularly get microblading done. People of all ages and backgrounds use microblading to get strong, beautiful eyebrows.
Other than age range, women who are menstruating report more pain during microblading, so it might be best to come when it’s not your time of the month.
How To Prepare For My Procedure
Microblading is a very minimal procedure and there is not too much a client needs to do to prepare. We do advise that anyone getting microblading done refrains from caffeine, alcohol, or pain relief, or blood-thinner consumption 24 hours prior to the procedure.
Do Any Medical Conditions Cause Complications?

- Diabetes
- Heart conditions
- Viral infections
- Chemotherapy

Should I Wear Makeup To The Procedure?
No need! For sanitary reasons, we will just end up taking the makeup off anyway. If you have any requests for your permanent makeup technician in terms of style, just let them know!
